Miss Rate (Escape)

Fraction of truly bad parts that an appraiser wrongly rates as OK — in binary attribute MSA.

Also known as: escape, false acceptance, type II error rate (appraiser)

The miss rate (also: escape, false acceptance) is the conditional probability that an appraiser rates a truly negative part (NOK, ref = neg) as positive (OK, rating = pos).

It is the customer-critical error type: a bad part ships. Wilson score CI (95 %) for the proportion.
